Previous consultation and research suggests we should cluster employment, population growth and services in designated areas (also known as hubs). Do you support this type of planning?

I would agree in general with this approach. However these hubs need to be big enough that they can support viable industries and services etc. I think each hub would need to be at least the size of Port Macquarie as it is now, but perhaps a few more numbers in a higher density of population. Therefore even by 2030 we probably would not have the numbers for a second hub close to Port. Perhaps one at Wauchope and one at Laurieton might be worth planning for.

Yes this would be a good idea but the truth is it won't happen.
Port will expand westward and council has to accept that is the future. It it doesnt zone land for commercial use for the future then Port will stagnate.
Wauchope is possible in 30 years but the planning must start now.
