Most dogs are extremely well behaved and it is fabulous to see owners and dogs having a great time playing and exercising.As an older person, it is great to mix with people and their dogs.Great social interaction.Keeps myself and others fit and healthy.Some of my friends who walk the beach on their own including children that don't have dogs love to walk south lighthouse beach just to socialise with other peoples dogs because they can't unfortunately own a dog due to their living arrangements etc.My friends and I have never been jumped at or knocked over or bitten or had any negative dog experience at the beach nor have we ever seen this occur at either southern Lighthouse beach or Nobbys.It is great to see that most of peoples comments are supportive of dogs and the need for enhanced offleashed areas with the addition of fenced exercise areas.A minority of people are antidog and no matter what will never change their viewpoint.
"}
